SSEN-Transmssion have sent us copies of the Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) and PAN Red Line Boundary Plan submitted to The Highland Council in relation to the proposed Coire Mashie 400 kV Substation and pumped storage hydro connection.  Click here for more information. LINK to info

We have written to SSEN-T to see how this differs from the previous consultation but have had no response as yet. As far as we understand it, the submission of the PAN to The Highland Council marks the start of the formal 12-week pre-application consultation period.

The event will provide information on the proposed development and offer an opportunity to discuss the proposals with the project team and provide feedback. We have been told that comments received will help inform the ongoing development of the project before a planning application is submitted.
